Logistics Coordinator

Our Taber based client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their cross-border shipping company, known for its hard work, reliability, and strong team spirit. If you have experience in the trucking and transportation industry, along with strong organizational skills and an understanding of vehicle maintenance, we want to meet you!

• $65 - $75K/year based on experience
• 8am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Potential weekend & on-call work as needed
• Located in-office in Taber, AB

• Oversee daily dispatch activities, coordinating drivers and routes to ensure timely deliveries and smooth logistics
• Manage the entire fleet, ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired, and meet safety standards
• Ensure all fleet activities comply with DOT regulations
• Facilitate effective communication and prompt resolutions
• Control budgets and manage costs
• Maintain and analyze data, while seeking opportunities to streamline processes
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Develop and maintain policies

• 3+ years of experience in dispatch or transportation shipping
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, freight lanes, and safety standards
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Diploma or degree in Logistics/Supply Chain
• Management in cross-border shipping
