Maintenance Operator

Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our client in their search for a Maintenance Operator to join their team. As a Maintenance Operator, this role will be responsible for assisting with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, pumps, and related machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of all equipment.

• The rate of pay will be $28-$30/hr. based on experience
• Monday-Friday with some weekend work.
• Overtime available 

• Learning and performing routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and customers. Including but not limited to: answering the phone, booking services, answering questions and completing quality checks.
• Communicating maintenance though reporting systems
• Ensuring facility upkeep
• Maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Monitor systems and ensure proper functioning

• Proven customer service skills, including the ability to problem solve and de-escalate.
• Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a heavy equipment, agriculture or automotive environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Minimum class 5 license

• Previous experience shunting trailers
