Lead Cabinetmaker

We’re looking for a skilled cabinetmaker to join our client’s team of wood craftsmen with the ability to take a project from stock material to finished product. Their ideal candidate will have leadership capabilities, strong attention to detail, extensive woodworking knowledge, and creativity, resulting in superior cabinets and millwork.

• The rate of pay will be $25 - $30/hr.
• This is a full-time and permanent position
• 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Operating woodworking machines (table saw, mitre saw, edge bander, CNC) and using hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components
• Producing custom millwork and joinery
• Reading, understanding, and building from shop drawings and subsequently installing cabinets at client spaces
• Maintaining high-quality standards and controls in all phases of production, including raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
• Ensuring a clean & safe workspace and safe operation of tools & equipment

• 3+ years of previous cabinetmaking/woodworking experience
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (team lead, foreman, supervisor, small-business owner, etc.)
• Ability to work sufficiently in either a team or an autonomous setting
• Valid class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Strong knowledge of new and old cabinet-making techniques; interest in improving concepts to promote cost savings, quality, and overall successful delivery to clients
• The desire to learn and develop; a motivated individual who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship
• Can stand / walk / crouch / kneel for long periods of time
• Agile, flexible, and manages change through the lens of opportunity
• A genuine team player interested in the success of all stakeholders

• Spray booth experience
• Schooling / training in cabinetry
