Showroom Supervisor

Are you a real self-starter with an innovative mind and a knack for building longstanding relationships? Select is working with a local bath and kitchen supply store to find a Showroom Supervisor. This person will not only provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to the showroom customers, but they will be coming up with new ways to promote the business and their products.

• The salary is expected to be $45K - $55K/yr.
• This is fulltime position covering a maternity leave, with the opportunity to train in their management program and become a permanent employee in a different position upon completion of the maternity leave.

• Assisting showroom customers in assessing their needs and directing their product selections
• Developing strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to grow profitable sales
• Utilizing the system to submit quotes & orders, expedite purchases, and communicate shipping times with the customers
• Investigating and resolving customer issues
• Creating promotions, displays, and other means of advertising to promote products and services
• Setting sales goals
• Maintaining a safe work environment at all times

• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience
• Superior sales ability with proven results
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
• Competent in MS Suite and can quickly learn new software
• Desire to continuously learn and build industry knowledge
• Intermediate math skills
• Organized; project coordinating skills will be valuable here

• Post-secondary education
• Familiar with Profit Centre products

• Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
