Retail Store Manager

We're looking for a dynamic Fabric Store Manager to lead our team and drive success in our store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves textiles and has a knack for sourcing the best materials.

• The expected salary will be $50,000 - $55,000/yr.
• This is a Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday

• Managing staff payroll, performance reviews, onboarding, and termination as required
• Conflict-management, both internal and external
• Managing the daily store operations including staff, customer requests, inventory, restocking, and purchasing
• Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability, and minimizing waste.
• Providing exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment for all customers
• Lead and motivate a team of fabric enthusiasts to provide exceptional customer service.
• Promoting positive staff relations to ensure a well-functioning team and fulfilling work environment
• Reporting on inventory, purchasing reports, and cash reports
• Merchandising and ensuring a clean, pleasant shopping experience for customers while understanding what is seasonally appropriate
• Keeping clear records for inventory, staff, and other miscellaneous paperwork

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media platforms
• Ability to effectively time-manage
• Creative problem solving skills and ability to adapt

• Retail background
• An interest in fabric, textile arts, or crafting
