Operations Team Lead

Our client is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Operations Team Lead to oversee operations directly from the production floor. You’ll be the go-to for scheduling, team development, and real-time problem solving - keeping production goals on track and supply chain needs flowing seamlessly.

• The rate of pay will be $75,000 - $85,000 a year
• Shift work expected combination of days and nights

• Coaching and motivating production staff with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach; intentional mentorship
• Manage scheduling and ensure production targets are met
• Oversee and optimize supply chain logistics – suggesting efficient operations that are able to be integrated across shifts
• Coach and develop team members, working with staff to develop skills
• Tackle production floor challenges with real-time solutions and strong problem solving skills
• Collaborate across departments to improve efficiency

• Post-secondary education in supply chain management or related field
• 5+ years manufacturing experience in a production-focused environment
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role

• Strong problem solving skills
• Interpersonal communication skills – able to communicate effectively with team members both verbally and written

• Lean certification (101, green, or yellow belt)
