• Production manager

    Are you a hands-on leader ready to make an impact on the production floor? Our client is looking for a mechanically inclined Production Manager to join their team. In this role, the successful candidate will guide and support a hardworking crew, ensuring the production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

    Compensation & Hours:
    • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
    • Schedule: Rotating 12-hour schedule (days, nights, and weekends)
       
    Position Summary:
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
    • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of production staff, to hit daily goals and uphold safety standards
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prolong equipment life and reduce breakdowns
    • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly
    • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company standards
    • Work closely with production teams to align maintenance activities with production goals
    • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed
    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance
     
    Required Qualifications:
     
    • Must be located or willing to relocate to the Lethbridge, AB area.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of proven supervisory experience, preferably in a maintenance-related role
    • Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation
    • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
    • Leadership skills with a talent for motivating and managing diverse teams
    • Quick thinking and proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues
    Bonus Points For:
    • Red Seal certifications (Millwright, Maintenance Tech, or Machinist) are highly valued
