• Office Manager

    Since 1906, Huckvale LLP has been providing Southern Alberta with dedicated, quality legal assistance to help our clients get where they need to be, from resolving a legal dispute, to successfully closing a business or real estate transaction.
     

    We are looking for a new team member in the position of:

    Office Manager

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and Posting Banking Transactions (multiple times per day)
    • Bank Deposits (daily)
    • Trust Accounting & Ensuring Compliance with the Law Society
    • Payroll and Remittance
    • HR Responsibilities: Hiring, Onboarding, Tracking Vacation/Anniversaries, Administering Employee Reviews and Addressing Grievances
    • Administrative Support to the Lawyers, Legal Assistants and Accountant
    • Covering Reception Desk during Breaks and Vacations
    • Other Office Administrative duties as required

     

    Requirements:

    • 5 years’ Experience in a Similar Role
    • High Attention to Detail and Accuracy with Numbers
    • Strong Time Management and Ability to Prioritize Tasks
    • Adaptable, Dependable and Level-headed
    • Willingness to take Initiative to find Solutions
    • Ability to work both Independently and as a Team Member
    • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and PC Law an asset
    • Understanding of the Banking industry and/or the Rules Governing the Law Society an asset

     

    We Offer:

    • Monday – Friday: 40 hours/week
    • $65 000 - $70 000 annually; based on Experience
