Cost Analyst

Select People Solutions is teaming up with our construction client to find a Cost Analyst who lives for data, thrives on precision, and can turn a sea of numbers into actionable insights. If you’re systematic, organized, and ready to play a key role in keeping costs sharp and operations smooth, we want to hear from you!
 
Compensation & Hours:

• The wage is expected to be $51 - $58K, depending on experience
• This is a fulltime and permanent position
• Daytime hours

• Ensuring the accurate and efficient exchange of information as related to costs, pricing, and department operations
• Accurately inputting the data into the system
• Maintaining bill of materials and parts catalogues as needed for production
• Obtaining accurate pricing for all quotes from vendors and suppliers
• Collaborating with department heads to ensure production runs like a well-oiled machine
• Crafting timely reports, records, and proposals

• Post Secondary education in Accounting
• 2-3 years of experience working in accounting within a manufacturing or production setting
• Must be able to provide a clean drug and alcohol test
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office
• Organizational skills that would make a librarian jealous
• Strong communication skills; ability to go over numbers with the sales team or team up with other departments to support their success 

• A curiosity for the construction industry and a willingness to get your boots dirty in the plant
